The Sauter SD mechanically lever operated spring testers are designed specifically to test the strength of springs and to calculate the spring rate. No additional force gauges are required as the force measurment is internal, each stand is fitted with a height gauge to measure the movement of the spring.

Each unit has a internal thermal printer to print a record of the test results, an additional RS-232 output is provided for additional connection to a PC. High and Low programmable set points are ideal for go / no-go testing on production floors.

The machine can store upto 10 measured results and produce an average calculation. A peak hold function will capture the max force, this will automatically reset after 10 seconds.
